They don't have DD decoder as well. DD decoder can decode DD+. Their software DD sound won't make much difference, it gives no control to user. You can't even control your volume when DD sound is selected on their STB.

But stb is giving out digitally encoded dd+ and your HT receivers needs to have dd+ decoder.
You don't get audio out through AV cable when you select DD audio, that means it doesn't have inbuilt decoder for DD sound. If it had a DD decoder, it would have decoded DD for stereo sound through AV output.

Nothing. Same dish is being used, only stb is changed.
DD+ is for those who are sound conscious and can afford expensive HT systems
and did you got a sealed pack box?as per local technician they need to remove the seal to insert the remote
