It doesn't make any sense to upgrade to UHD STB's unless they have UHD TV.

Does any of Entertainment Forum member own UHD TV?

I will buy February UHD Tv Of Samsung 100%

i buy it from december but i get tbs5922 product so pending.....

STAR SPORTS is a production company of World Cup and if its DTH launching UHD then surely UHD broadcasting is coming

I wanted to buy a new TV...pending for many months.......
There is doubt in my mind whether to go for UHD at this time or not.........
So if you are doing any survey then suggest me model also.....

I don't think Star having any problem to sell UHD Feed.

But will TS agree......I mean then it won't be exclusive to TS then........Also UHD is still small market.....
TS would definitely want to make moolha......

As of now nobody is exactly sure whether only Semis and Finals will be shot in UHD or entire tournament

I want all matches to broadcast in UHD then only I will think........

Its not about TS business here, its about STAR SPORTS's business. Market of UHD is limited as you said those Premium peoples who owns TS will stick to TS's UHD service and will enjoy on it after all their own DTH giving the feed with best hardware. But if STAR SPORTS don't provide UHD feed to d2h then suddenly they loose some bucks as a license fee. TS will any how many some moolha by adding STAR SPORTS Première HD at any stupid cost by the name of Ad Free.
