I think d2h remove channels before their contract gets expire. I think all removal channels available at Small Screens and once they done they removes it completely.

Indiacast must have done something with UTV World Movies contract to bring Disney Junior. It has happened earlier in d2h as well. News Time Assam was moved to channel Active to and it was as replaced by Khabar 365 Din, and both are still available on d2h, so it is always broadcaster who make changes. No DTH wants to put channels in Active Window, since it also consumes their space and money and they cannot do it for free.

Now May be Khabar 365 Din will be removed from 1st oct and News Time Assam comes to full screen...

No Bro. its d2h who wanted Disney Junior instead of UTV World Movies this channel is struggling and almost all platform removing except dishtv because of relationship reasons.

Regarding Active Screens I think the contract must be sign like eg. Mar. 2013 - Oct. 2014 now negotiation starts months before contract expiry d2h demand some loyalty/carriage fee for non popular channels once its not fulfill instead of removing from platform they wait until their contract gets expire.

Even d2h didn't remove Fox Sports News straight away and shifted to Active Screens before their contract done.

Fox Sports News was under process to shut-down, so it was shifted to Active
and same time d2h got Star Sports 2
..

d2h added STAR SPORTS 2 when their contract was about to done they keep waited this too happen once new talk started they added same thing happened with dishtv too. They added it with a new contract.

FOX SPORTS NEWS removed from Active screens when their old contract totally expired.
