IndianMascot bro also ask ur friend about HDAF policy...Is d2h HDAF policy is as same as TS?? You can get corresponding HD channel if you applied for HDAF policy & opted for a-la-carte SD... I think the answer is no....but pls. confirm with ur friend...As CC & Nodal surely don't have any concrete info. about it...

I have already clarified this here.
For subscribing HD a la carte channels in d2h, HD Access Fee is not required.
And the a la carte price mentioned on their website is final amout for any channel.

IndianMascot bro I am not asking about single HD a-la-carte channel...Eg. if i am in super gold pack + HDAF. where sony six HD is not not there as SD is not there so if i opt for sony six SD can i get six HD....I think this is what TS is doing if i am not wrong...I also think the answer is no, but pls. confirm as this is a confusing thing for CC or Nodal....
