but how dish tv's ARPU lower compare to d2h? There so much difference in packages of both dths

Dish TV packs are costly compare to d2h ..Dish tv's APRU need to be more compare to d2h

But you're not counting HD Add On Scheme too. Before d2h use to have HD Globe Pack so if Rs. 231 add Rs. 169 extra then his pack price gets double that time there were no scheme from dishtv and user have to bought mandatory HD packs.

Also dishtv used to provides movies via Bonus Points but in d2h have to shel Rs. 60 PM, also not SUN HD channels that time was the drawback now wait for fresh results, many Indiacast channels are now available as ala carte only so it will grows the ARPU.

Average Revenue Per User does not majorly depend on Package Prices though it is a factor to it. If suppose in Videocon d2h , most subscribers choose higher packages even though its higher package prices are low as compared to higher package prices of other operators while say most subscribers of other DTH still choose lower packages even though their package prices are higher so still Videocon would get Higher ARPU. A DTH operator like Tata Sky has max ARPU bcoz most of its customers have chosen Higher Packages plus pay a lot for Active Services too

HD Access Fee is the reason why TATA(SKY boost up their earning and hence d2h too follow this but as of now its customer friendly.
