I am sure many would. Because as I read that the recorded content is protected and cannot be viewed on other devices.
Just got a call from the local guy, he said I will receive the HD STB by tomorrow, as he doesn't have HD STB with him. 
That's a slow service comparing to other operators who offer immediate service. And for the fact that I have requested for the exchange yesterday, around 4PM, so 24 hours and no service.

1.I already have HD box but want to exchange it with the new HD box of D2H.What is the price?
2.I currently use SPIDf for DD sound and will like to continue using that only and not HDMI in case i get a new box.Is that possible?

It's Rs.999. The same as SD to HD upgrade.

yeah their service always slow..but I was lucky..they have provided some fast service..
For my upgrade, Tech visited next day, but I was not available.....So he said he will close the ticket for now as they have to close tickets within 24 hrs.......I booked my HD connection at Thursday and it get installed at Sunday, first time saw such horrible service from dishtv by the name of HD
