I have never deactivated my d2h since March 2011, when I bought it. I don't have any other DTH, and will probably not have any in coming days unless a better offer than d2h.

Not possible. Star Sports 3 is so costly and Star will never allow this.

Still you can discuss about it and convey this message to d2h officials.
