guys,
one more doubt from my side !

Is there any way to stop Naaptol being displayed as the home channel @LCN 100

in other words , I want channel no 99 to be displayed when I switch on my STB

I am afraid there is no way. D2h is making sure u land on their home channel when u start STB

But they seem to be making a lot money hence they have started separate channels in all south indian languages

in other words , I want channel no 99 to be displayed when I switch on my STB

One option is do not switch off the STB. So, whenever you will switch on your TV it will land to the last viewed channel. But this will be waste of electricity.

In Tata Sky also whenever i switch on my STB, it goes to the home channel like d2h. So, the 1st thing i di is hit the "Favourite" button on remote to get rid of ads and lands on my favourite channel lists

I think it happens in every dth that whenever we turned on the STB it shows the home channel

Yeah because home channel is he source of revenue for DTH operators and they ensure that all their customers land on the ad page as soon as they switch on their connection.

So Mr. Jeff Sagansky is the reason why Videocon d2h has suddenly started showing movies whose rights r with Sony on their d2h movies channel. Evwry Saturday and Sunday they premiere movies from Sony , they have shown Student of the year, Aashiqui 2 and one more whose name i can't remember in last 3 weekends.

Also as Mr. Jeff handles Sony channels in India too so Vidwocpn will have no issue with MSM too.

U may very soon see d2h movies hollywood showing moviea whose rights r with Sony. It will include movies from many studioa like Columbia Tristar , Sony Pixtures,MGM , Lionsgate , Disney, Paramount etc.
