In DD mode, stb will transmit the sound through either coaxial out or optical out. Thatswhy you are not getting sound.

To exp DD , u need 5.1 system or home theater with coaxial or optical input.

Using converter and normal audio mode doesnot make much difference.

So jus adding coaxial or optical cable can make things work for me...as I require Dolby Digital audio in D2H..

Your 5.1 speaker system should have either coaxial or optical in port. Check your 5.1 system.

Oh my bad...
My 5.1 system doesn't have input for coaxial or optical input..
It has only RCA input
Any solution to this? Any convertor cable to use optical or coaxial cable..

You have to use convertor to connect optical or coaxial port.check on net and buy it.

Just learnt something new from d2h stb...channels on 4 digit LCNs..

Means they gonna blast it by adding so many channel that digit will become 4
