He can get away with any answer. Dolby Digital is not supported by hardware decoder.That problem is back for sometime again now..Now epg getting on new tp...d2h solved problems

yup, in DD mode we have to use HT remote for vol control.
They don't have a decoder to decode Dolby in hardware. That's why we don't get Dolby D Plus. I don't know how they pull Dolby Digital Plus broadcast into Dolby Digital. Most of the broadcasters use DD+ for audio. They convert it into DD, I think.

d2h hardware and its stbs are pathetic, they think their products are innovative and future ready but i would say the stbs are worst than the rdtv stb. I never had an issue with rdtv stb for two years unlike d2h's which had started to malfunction within 3 months of purchase.
