Why didn't you tried it on weekend. It was available at Re 1 for first month.

Now that offer will be back after 2-3 weeks. Yes its Rs 30 per month but i think there is Rs 100 as one time activation of USB recording

i knew about the offer.. im from Sri Lanka. so no chance for me. btw you still think there is an activation fee?

so what? they send emails and you can reply them back to activate the same.

and got this on their website


Customer needs to activate the recording facility at a once time cost of Rs. 100/-, the monthly subscription cost to avail recording feature is Rs. 30 per month. Customer need to purchase the external storage devices for storing the recorded content. Image of the product shown is for illustration purpose only and may differ from the actual product that the customer may get. Customer also needs to subscribe to any of the SD or HD packages apart from the recording feature monthly to view the channels available without any interruption.Click here to view the list of qualified USB devices

my stb is not registered under my name and mobile no.. so yeah thats why.
one more question. if i schedule something to record, do i have to keep my stb turn on or can i keep it standby(off) ?

Hi Vadirocks bro, any idea there might be another round of HD addition before end of month? Can we expect the likes of espn hd, hbo hd, animal planet hd etc.
