hey guys. This is regarding long term recharges.
imaging if i do 6 months recharge today and within 6 months my stb gets broken and my stb is out of warranty.
i want to know what happens to my remaining balance ? are they gone or can i transfer my remaining balance to the new stb ?

They would return the remaining amount as cheque If you opt out else deducting the stb replacement cost remaining would be transferred to new account.

the thing is i live in sri lanka. and every d2h stb is registered under indian users. and good thing is my email address is linked with my current stb. if my stb get broken and can i send them an email with the registered email? so they will accept ?

nah. STB replacement is carried out physically by the d2h engineers. so no chance you will get it done by yourself.
