I read in different forum he is planning to move to Hathway digital cable, so there are more chances that the next move will be every body should move to that

I recently recharged my D2H account. Generally i recharge it quarterly with 1417 for 3 months for Platinum HD package . So this time when the subscription was about to get due i called up the customer care to seek recharging details the information which i received was surprising.
If i opt for long term recharge i.e. 3 months the new price would be applicable i.e. 480 +22.74=504 so for 3 months 1510/- (7 days subscription free)
Where as if i i recharged with 1 month my charge would be Rs. 450+ 22=473/-
I received info from CC that price for old customer has not been revised. so i recharged with one month but surprising going for long term recharge is a loosing option this time

this is applicable to all DTH customers until they change package and dth companies cease old packages.

Its called as Price Protection and mandatory for all DTH operator as per TRAI regulations.
Not only that if you would have recharged on 7th April with annual or biannual recharge you would have got the benefit of old price for 1 year/2 year. I did the same for my family connection
