Well D2H is not protecting its users in Long term recharges. when the price of HD Pack is hiked i think all long term HD pack users had been not protected. they also paid the extra money. Correct me if i am wrong.

No Sir, they were protected. Price Hike is applied only for new recharges.

In that case we have to wait. And one more thing i have noticed is Minimum Base price always remain same across operators. Remaining packages may have different pricing for different operators.

Such descripencies are common with videocon. Even i was not provided price protection once. I had to complain them and then i was provided.

I think Mr Bhat is right.

because all other DTHs i.e Airtel, TS, Dishtv deduct advance amount from your account if u select long term package.

But in d2h they not deduct any advance recharge from your account.

They just give more benefits of recharge amount on Long Term Recharge nothing else offered.

I had recharged in long term recharge 4 month before they not deduct any advance amount. Just give bonus amount

While all other DTH works on Daily Validity Decrement policy, Videocon d2h works on Daily Balance Decrement policy. Hence Balance deducts everyday . So, anything in between subscribed effects the entire Validity.

Few weeks back they increased Price for "South Gold" and some other packs.

If the 10% hike will happen.. may they increase for these packs too?? clarify
