I have watched Vishwaroopam yesterday,Liked it.I wonder how musilm leaders did objection for this movie??very silly.This movie is not about any religioun. How Hindus can object in the name of hurting the Hindus sentiments,for Delhi rapists or any murderers bcoz they are Hindus??.

These are bloody politics, Especially in TN,these revenge kind of politics are very common.

Overall, the major reason for ‘Vishwaroopam’s damage has been attributed to Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa. Being a top league heroine herself at one point, many are asking why she is doing so much after leaving film industry. Some are unable to figure why she is so stubborn on this issue.
The public says she can shake her hips and thighs and woo the crowds but now she is creating trouble for Kamal. Buzz is that the association of TN theatres approached her and gave a huge sum in the name of party fund so she got in touch with Muslim leaders and told them to make some noise. Taking that as the cue she banned the film.
However, in front of media Jaya has reportedly stated that their intelligence department warned of serious communal tensions. Well, all India the movie has released and no Gallata happened at any place. How Jayalalithaa claims law and order problem only in TN? The outrage over this is very high and the new demand is to better sack the CM instead of banning movie. The film folks are asking if government can't provide security what is the use of democracy??​

Ayngaran International, the distributors of Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam, has said that the film is a smash hit in the UK. For the third consecutive week, the film is running to packed houses and there are plans to screen it in 15 more theatres in the coming weeks.

A source close to the Ayngaran International stated that from February 15th onwards, the film will be screened in several more theatres. We also get to hear that repeat audiences at the theatres are making it a huge hit.

After several years, it has happened for the first time. Yes, Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam has been seeing 100 per cent occupancy at the theatres. The film released to packed houses on February 7th and the mad rush to see the film continues even after four days of its release, a trend that we have not seen in the recent past.

What is even more surprising is the fact that all the theatres not only in Chennai but in the suburbs as well where Vishwaroopam is being screened, are seeing 100 per cent occupancy rate. There is not one seat vacant at the theatres. The theatre owners say that this is the first time after several years that they are seeing it happen. This is sort of a record-break, say sources.
