So. error testing is complete. The black screen issue happened again today while browsing through HD channels (as usual). Box sent to software R&D team.
I asked them why all the STBs not getting live OTA updates like 6666.
he said that It is Cisco certified and it requires all the updates to be live.
6666 box installed again.

So the new box you got is perfect now.

Some might complaint about recording facility not available in it, but recording is nowhere in my priority (smooth UI is.)
So it is perfect for me coz it doesn't lag and changing channels doesn't gives headache.
They'll send a new remote tomorrow..

That's fantastic. Recording is expected to arrive by April end as I said somewhere.Some might complaint about recording facility not available in it, but recording is nowhere in my priority (smooth UI is.)
