D2H guys are probably the dumbest people you are going to find. It's CEO or a nodal officer, all are busy fighting and defending their substandard hardware. They can't believe that they are a way behind in terms of hardware and quality compared to Tata Sky and ADTV. They just continue living in illusion.

their quality and service trainer is coming from Ghaziabad. I told him that their was no need to come.
But he told me that he wanted to check if their is any external factor other than defective stb issue.
He's unable to digest the fact that back to back 4 STBs were replaced within four months and all of them had one defect or another.

Perhaps They are too confident about their hardware quality.
Will tell him about the low quality hardware.

Just show how many people are complaining about the stb in this forum.

The quality and service engineer and his assistants came today. They asked about the issue I faced and did various kinda tests. Checked signal strength, connections, cable quality, length, Voltage output with and without stabilizer...
I told him about the issues people are facing but as usual they're too confident about their hardware.


Now one last test is left. They'll again install the defective box in my home. They asked me to call them back when the black screen issue arises again.. because they want to analyze its cause.

They were also talking about a New software ID 32 that is very soon gonna be launched. It'll make d2h Smart remote app compatible with all boxes. 'Smart remote app' will be compatible with almost all STBs.

D2H STB is dumb. It can never be smart.

The more feature they are trying to add the worse the performance will get with their substandard hardware, which they manufacture in their own backyard.

What an stupid act. Instead of doing R and D at their offices they are performing if at customer home. Why don't they declare it as beta testing then.

'My Account' section on d2h website shows that not device is linked to my account.
But on 6666 I am getting my package.

Getting Platinum HD pack on the Software ID 32 wala box. Saare HD channel dekh ke achha lag raha hai.
Isn't there any trick to get all HD channels?
