Reasons for Dissatisfaction with d2h:
1) Poor Quality STBs and RF remotes
All the HD box models (2011, 2222, 2233) are buggy and what i experienced is new boxes are even worse than old 2011. They have many new bugs without old bugs solved so Total Crap. RF remote is so buggy...Doesn't work after 4-5 mths, changes channels twice despite single button pressed!! (over responsive) .. many times unresponsive!!
2) New ODU units are of poor quality:
I have problem with my 75. cm. dish reflector due to its thin metal surface. it gets vibrating if minor wind is out there and i cant gets signal because it gets disturbed due to vibration...and d2h is not ready to replace it..Engineers too agree that there is engineering problem in reflector still they are not ready to change it...they demands charge from me...even i'm on warranty period!!
3) Breaks their every policy in one or other way
d2h promises that, on LTR recharges, cust. gets price protection for entire LTR period but they deducts money whenever price hikes done!! every time we have to call cc care and have to do mouth fight then and then they do something.
Not only this i've become victim of false 150 rs engineer visit charge 2 times!!! even i had not called them for visit and nobody had made the visit!! then both time i had to call C.care 4-5 times and then they gave it back.!!!
4) Not many ROI regional channels...only south addition
5) No offer like free Engineer visit despite recharge of 2 or even 5 years!
6) Huge price hike in Platinum HD without single HD addition
