HELP Will Tata Sky or other Operators require Monoblock LNB to recieve signal from GSAT-10 ?

I have few Simple Questions which I am unable to understand.

1. As per various International forum and Articles, one have to use Mono Block LNB to get signal from 2 different satellite irrespective of deviation in angle and orbit. So, if Insat 4A and GSAT-10 are 2 different satellite, so how will we able to receive signals from both the Satellites.

2. How about Airtel ?? Are they having Single Satellite or Double .

1. It's wrong informations if any given as "one have to use Mono Block LNB to get signal from 2 different satellite irrespective of deviation in angle and orbit" . We have already 1 DTH not using Monoblock LNB for 2 satellites. Dish TV is not using to get signals from 2 differant satellites NSS 6 @95 *+Insat 4B @93.5 *. Perhaps this is enough to get answer for your doubt.

2. Airtel is using 1 satellite SES 7 @108.2* e.
One more information i have to write here ,
As far as i know If multiple satellites are in single orbit or position there is no same Transponder in both sats in same Polarity. Not a single Transponder coincide with the TP of other Satellite TP. We can not find the same transponder in both satellites with same Polarity in same Beam. Experts correct me if i am wrong. in C band too it's same. Earlier Insat 2E was having VERTICAL polarity and Insat 4A Have HORIZONTAL polarity. Both are in same position. Dual Polarity LNB are getting signals from Both.

Now this one clarifies a lot. So, that's the reason Videocon d2h smoothly switched from ST1 to ST2 without any glitch and interference. Also nothing was required to change at consumer end.

Thanks. Nice Explanation Satracker

^^ :thankyou:
We can see same TP in differant beam from same satellite but not same in same beam. we are aligning a dish to get signals from say Insat 4a. the LNB is in center , the MB LNB means 2 lnbs , secondary lnb is not focussed to Insat 4a, so how we get signals in the secondary lnb from Insat 4a ? the secondary LNB may get signals from multiple satellites as it's not focussed in the center.

Im Bro, Monoblock LNB is used when we have to receive two or more then two satellite at the difference of max 6 degree, for ex:- dish tv using nss6 at 95e and asiasat 100.5e with difference of 5.5 degree.

jNmwQ.gif
why we r using monoblock ?:- to save an single dish, if we have not mb lnb then we have to add one more dish to receiver setup that makes setup complex, so for save an dish we uses mb lnb
.

Btw, sat trackers are not uses mb lnb most because, mb lnb costs 450-650 inr and with the some others procedures we add an single ku lnb(as per the requirement) so its costs 100-150 inr.
But it takes some hard work.

If we come on the GSAT-10 & INSAT-4A Matter, GSAT-10 Current position is 81.55 degree and INSAT-4A IS on 83e, in coming days isro will move to 83 so we dont need any type of mb lnb to receive signals, the normal ku band lnb will work.

2. How about Airtel ?? Are they having Single Satellite or Double .
Presently ADTV is using SES7 for new and old customers, but some customers has not migrated to new satellite till now, so thats why they are using old sat(insat 4cr @ 74.5e) with new sat ses7 108.2e.

jNmwQ.gif
One Single KU Bnad LNB can receive two satellites by difference of 1 to 2 degree, like SUN Direct 91.5 to 93.5 and dish tv insat4b 93.5 & nss6 95.

jNmwQ.gif
Only Videocon D2h Can use INSAT-4a and GSAT-10 If they install monoblock lnb to each and every dish, but its impossible because they have to replace millions of normal lnb and one mb lnb costs 450-650, with mb lnb and TATASKY Can also use st-2 88e but the same problem is here, they have to replace all lnb with mb lnb also.

As far as i know SUN DIRECT is using separate kind of lnb to HD connections. that may be a Monoblock typed lnb. do not know exactly. ordinary sun direct lnb is not getting good signal from 11030 v 30000 tp from insat 4b. that was the reason i did not write about sun direct using multiple satellites.
Is Airtel having all channels from insat 4cr ??
