WWE RAW RESULTS - 2/1/16

The RAW video plays, and we’re brought into the arena to hear Brock Lesnar’s music. Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and JBL welcome us to the show. The crowd erupts as Lesnar makes his way to the ring looking very serious with his advocate, Paul Heyman, at his side. Lesnar stands in the middle of the ring and smiles as the crowd chants, “Suplex City.” Heyman says, “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman, and I am the advocate for the Nightmare of Suplex City, Brock Lesnar!” At the Royal Rumble, Bray Wyatt and his disciples hatched a conspiracy to remove his client from the WWE Title picture. The crowd boos that. The main event of Fastlane would be brother versus brother versus beast. Roman Reigns versus Dean Ambrose versus (saving the best for last) Brock Lesnar. The winner of this unique triple threat match will go on to WrestleMania to main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Triple H.Heyman says they shouldn’t get ahead of themselves. No one would sell two-thirds of The Shield short. Roman Reigns already knows what it’s like to step up to Brock Lesnar and get put right down. Reigns needs to explain this to his brother, Dean Ambrose. Ambrose used to ride the short bus to school. He’s a whacko, a nut job…

Dean Ambrose’s music hits, and the WWE Intercontinental Champion makes his way to the ring looking very confident. Lesnar smiles as Heyman says Ambrose is in the wrong place at the wrong time. Ambrose asks, “Who are you calling a nut job, porky?” Ambrose says it’s cozy being in the lair of a beast. Before he came out, he thought this might be a really bad idea. Despite how it looks, Ambrose may look crazy, but he isn’t crazy or stupid. Ambrose says he’s not afraid of Lesnar. Ambrose says he does respect Lesnar. That’s why he wanted to come out here and tell him face-to-face that he wants the title. Ambrose wants the title so bad that he’ll fight his own brother for it and Lesnar. Does he want to fight Lesnar? Not really, but he knows the beating he’ll get at Fastlane from Lesnar and Reigns. Ambrose says he doesn’t need to be sold that. Lesnar can take him to Suplex City. Lesnar can suplex him all over the ring. Lesnar better be prepared to give him the worst beating ever because he’s the iron man of the WWE. He’s proven it every single night. Ambrose says he’ll drag his broken body to WrestleMania and take that title away from Triple H. Lesnar laughs in his face. Ambrose says he wanted to tell him that out of respect. Ambrose apologizes for interrupting them before leaving the ring. The crowd lightly boos as he leaves.

Kalisto vs. Rusev w/ Lana

Winner by Count-Out: Kalisto

The Usos vs. Curtis Axel and Adam Rose

Winners by Pinfall: The Usos

Miz TV with special guest AJ Styles

The Miz welcomes the crowd to the most must-see WWE talk show in history, Miz TV. Ever since his WWE debut in the Royal Rumble match, the WWE Universe has been buzzing about his guest, AJ Styles. The crowd cheers his name. Styles has captivated audiences worldwide with his high-flying style and pit-bull bravado. It’s guests like AJ Styles that make him want to provide this public service. This is a forum for storytelling. Styles’ story is phenomenal. Miz then introduces Styles.

AJ Styles makes his entrance to a decent reception. Pyro has been added to his entrance. Footage is shown of Styles defeating Chris Jericho last week on Monday Night RAW. Styles shakes hands with Miz and sits down. Miz says Styles finally made it. The WWE Universe wants to know who he is because to him, Styles is a man of tenacity who has been told he doesn’t have the “it” factor. Styles was the runt of the litter, but he fought and clawed for respect. The football team told him he was too small. They told him to give up, but he didn’t do that. Styles was the first one in the gym and the last one out. By the end of it, he was the best footballer on the damn football team, proving that it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog. Styles goes to speak, but Miz cuts him off. Miz says Styles traveled the globe entertaining crowds in hole-in-the-wall places. Deep down, Styles wondered what it was like to stand in a WWE ring. Years passed and it seemed like it was unattainable. Then he got a chance to be in the Royal Rumble match, which was probably the biggest moment of his life. Styles again goes to speak, but Miz cuts him off. Miz says doubts still remain. Styles lasted 26-minutes in the Rumble and beat Chris Jericho the next night. Miz asks where he goes from here, but he doesn’t let Styles speak.

Miz says there is no chance in hell. Miz turns around, and Styles takes him down with a right hand. Styles punches away at him before throwing him into a chair. Styles punches away at him until Miz gets out of the ring and runs up the ramp in fear. Styles shouts at him as his music plays.

The crowd lightly boos them before Strowman and Rowan clumsily pull him around the ring. They seem unsure of what to do next. They then throw Big Show into the steel steps.
