Discussion Why Petrol Price is so High in India

That is because they increased the duty to offset the rising fiscal deficit and hope the prices will remain constant incase the crude prices head north

I don't think there will be any more changes from now.

Few months back i got this message but don't know true it is


देश में पेट्रोल की कीमत कैसे तय होती है, उसकी पूरी प्रोसेस-

कच्चे तेल की वर्तमान कीमत = 50 डॉलर प्रति बेरेल।
(जहाँ, $1 = 63/-
और 1 बेरेल = 159 लीटर )

यानी, $50 = Rs.3150/-

1 लिटर कच्चा तेल भारत खरीदता है (3150/159) =19.80 रुपयों में।

1 लिटर पेट्रोल बनाने के लिए लगने वाला कच्चा तेल -
0.96 लीटर @19.80/- = 19.00/-

अब कच्चे तेल में से एक लीटर पेट्रोल बनाने की फिक्स्ड कीमत होती है 6 रूपये (ट्रांसपोर्टेशन मिलाकर)

यानी, 19.00 रूपये + फिक्स्ड कीमत, 6 रूपये = 25.00 रूपये में एक लिटर पेट्रोल बनता है।

अब उसमे केंद्र सरकार के टेक्स लगता है, 25% यानी 6 रूपये।
यानी 25 + 6 = 31 रूपये।

और उपर से फिर राज्य सरकार के टेक्स जैसे VAT,
जिसे हम एवरेज 15% गिने तो होते है 5 रूपये यानी कुल मिलाकर होते है 36 रूपये।

और आखिर में पेट्रोल पंप डीलरो को पर लीटर 90 पैसे कमिशन दिया जाता है तो होते है कुल 37 रूपये।

लेकिन फिर भी आज हमे 62/- प्रति लीटर में पेट्रोल मिल रहा है॥

How it is related to Ambani ? His Petrol is still costly then Govt. one. Also I don't think Govt. agency appointed Ambani as there middle man.

arey bhai. i have written the truth only. y this is taken as communal.
there is a treaty between all muslim nations. the middle east countries give petrol at subsidized rates

either th petrol coming from refinery is costly or the govt is making it costly
