Important LED vs LCD vs Plasma TV

AFAIK LCD is differant from LED

yes but it's almost same when you think about TV


pure LED tv cost you lakhs for 32 " it's very expansive to manufacture .

Whichever thing you get LCD, LED or Plasma, it will be with you only for 4 to 5 years if your average viewing is 4-5 hours a day.

This is the life of all these technologies.

there r lot's of type of LCD available in market . LED, IPS p-ips, e-ips bla bla bla . quality may varies .

yes there are some difference in LCD and LED tv quality sold in india . but calling LED TV is only marketing gimmick .

in simple language u can say iphone type display r LED-backlit LCD while Samsung s4 display is true LED

All LED sold everywhere in the world(not only in INDIA) is actually LCD. LED & LCD are same only differ by backlight technology. In LCD backlit is provided through CCFL where as in LED it is diode but the point is that they both use same liquid crystal for polarization.

LED is bit costly when compared to LCD and Plasma....When compared to plasma & LCD i would recommend Plasma....

Plasma is very costlier than LED and LCD & plasma provide best pictures than LED or LCD

Because LED has better contrast ratio than LCD.
