HELP Disk is powering up from Energy saving mode

Thr engg who visited at my house said that this is software problem and our expert team working on it. He confirmed me that they faced problem from different location. In addition to that I am also facing similar problem in my sd recorder.

I too have been facing the same issue for the last few weeks.
Today, I chatted with a TataSky CSR about this issue.

I was asked to check the power settings in my STB. The Auto stand by was "On" in my STB and I was asked to make it "off". I was told the issue will get resolved by this change.

You can access the Power Settings by pressing the Organizer button in the remote.

Just as others reported, changing auto stand by to "off" did not solve my issue also. Then I read in another forum that, if you do a master reset the problem goes away. I did the reset a week back and the problem has not reappeared. You can reach the master reset option through the Organizer. Please note that the reset will also wipe off the favorite channels in your STB and you need to set the favorite channels again.

Master Reset is only left option?? It will erase my downloaded programs???

At least in my case , the downloaded programs are intact after the master reset.

It is solved for me by a Master Reset. To be on safer side I switched to Disk Mgmt -> Manual, Power Mgmt -> Off, Auto Standby -> Off (after Master Reset).

I no longer see this error. And no, Master Reset does not erases your recordings/bookings.
