Anything above 48% should be good for SD and above 51% for HD on Sun.

There is no cutoff signal strength in digital transmission unless pictures gets freezed..either its for SD or HD....low signal strength effects only in Analog transmission...
Its more than enough if pictures doesnt freeze in digital transmission....the quality remain same in 10% or 100%...

Moreover, SD is in the process of converting HD channels to HEVC. That should give them more headroom to increase quality.
