Review Bought New Sun Direct HD connection

You are right that Sun Direct SD picture quality is bad, but it's not worse that Videocon D2h. Both seem to be using heavy compression, and the quality of SD channels is really bad.

But HD channel quality seems to be the same as that of Tata Sky (best quality in India).

As for volume, you can improve it changing the output from surround to stereo. You just need to press 'surround' off by pressing the key between volume and channel.

Without dolby sound what is the use of watching HD channel bro??

Tata Sky is way too costly. I pay 409 per month for 56 HD channels and most SD channels. Tata Sky costs about Rs 600-650 for the same. Way too costly. And as I said, the difference in quality is not perceptible for HD channels, only for SD channels.

Most TVs don't have Dolby. They just take two channels and push them into stereo. If the TV has dolby support, the 'low sound' problem would not have been there. So, if there's not much volume, it means the TVs taking only two channels and it's better to turn off surround.

I prefer only quality bro. In my view both Sd and HD channels sucks in SD. Need to change my dish and then need to check. Anyway there is no comparison ts and sd as of now.

That doesn't leave much scope for further improvement. I have 53% signal quality for HD on Sun and 85% for Tata Sky, but the quality of both is the same for me, and I have a 50-inch TV.

Anything above 48% should be good for SD and above 51% for HD on Sun.

Its not habit bro.. we are comparing competitors.
We are experts we need to give exact reviews to our members.
In all my experience I never read a single negative review about sun direct in any forum that is the reason I bought it and now suffering.
It shouldn’t happen to anyone in future.
We should give ur review after that its members wish whether he will buy it or not.
At least he would know the facts before he buying the product.
