bhaskar - SD wins only if you also care about how much you are spending. If an extra Rs 300 per month for a 5% or 10% increase in HD quality is fine, then perhaps Tata Sky is better. Also, for someone who watches mostly standard definition, Tata Sky is better than any others. But most people care about spending an extra 300 per month. So they make a compromise. Moreover, SD is in the process of converting HD channels to HEVC. That should give them more headroom to increase quality.

Bro another thing also there sd completely neglects hindi audiences. Star gold HD is not there in sd. Not only this even b4u music and masti.
For perfect dolby sound there is no need of rich or poor.
Sd stb not even giving dolby in sun music hd.
