I never expected this brother and I never heard this from any sun direct user also that is the reason I bought sun direct. But now I am comparing tata sky and sun direct and the AQ and PQ are pathetic in sun direct.

You are right that Sun Direct SD picture quality is bad, but it's not worse that Videocon D2h. Both seem to be using heavy compression, and the quality of SD channels is really bad.
But HD channel quality seems to be the same as that of Tata Sky (best quality in India).
As for volume, you can improve it changing the output from surround to stereo. You just need to press 'surround' off by pressing the key between volume and channel.
