my stb is made by humax and connection date is april 2011 but it not gives HD TP signal as well not airtel signal. Then its very hard to say how may are still using mpeg2.[might be its from old stock.]

so urs is mpeg2..

Yes i confirm with cc, mine is mpeg2.

The main procedure to check is:

GO TO ORGANISER>SYSTEM SETTINGS(PRESS 5)>ADD CHANNELS(PRESS 5)

IN This its Showing an Modulation If its Showing DVB & DVBS2 Then its Mpeg4 Other wise Mpeg 2.

80% true procedure to check for DVBS2 MPEG4.
