HELP Disk is powering up from Energy saving mode

I am facing the same issue since 10 days now.
Called up CC and setup the meeting. Stupid executive said that the disk might be faulty.
HD PVR box was replaced but the problem remained.....
clueless... I dont remember s/w being updated recently.

Any info on this topic will help as it is annoying to reboot box everyday//

Today, I chatted with a TataSky CSR about this issue.

I was asked to check the power settings in my STB. The Auto stand by was "On" in my STB and I was asked to make it "off". I was told the issue will get resolved by this change.

You can access the Power Settings by pressing the Organizer button in the remote.

Auto standby was off in my case..but still I am facing this issue.

Turning auto standby off has not solved the issue for me too.

I had this same frustrating issue some time back.
I changed disk management mode to manual & problem hasn't appeared since. You guys can also try....

Organiser>>User Settings>>Tata Sky+Settings>>Disk management mode>> Change it to manual.

I think instead of making just Auto Standby Off, make Power saving mode to "off" also
It is available with Auto Standby option.

Mee too... Just noticed that my STB is also throwing the same message. Hope there is some solution to it.

Still same problem coming .... mostly this problem comes when STB is in standby mode with no recording going on.

put buffer time to more then 0 min so disk start immediately and start recording anything u r watching

normally it's 30min . so u can rewind ongoing telecast
