HD PVR box is available from Monday from Hathway main office in Bangalore. I have been asking my LCO to get one for me. He says he is not able to get it as they haven't yet decided how the subscription charges will be shared between Hathway and LCO. I am planning to go to the Hathway main office to see if they will let me buy the HD PVR box from them.

I have my LCO's LCO code. I hope LCO code, ID and address proof is enough to buy the HD PVR box.

I have paid for 1 year HD subscription. About 11 months are still left in it. My LCO said he will refund the remaining subscription but won't pay anything for the box.

So it seems LCO is unwilling to provide service......so no point in investing new PVR.....

This is why MSO services are not popular among people as lots of delay and hassle are there

Seems like Hathway is some Govt. agency which providing some extra ordinary service or beyond of everyone's reach.

I remember such Taam Zhaam with BSNL regarding new Telephone, Line man used to tell me to take Broadband for advance Telephone then again Taam Zhaam to settle the thing.

Even worse than a Government agency, i got so fed up of them that i discontinued their service. No one answers anything even if you escalate ur concern to higher authorities, zero accountability

So Hathway is behaving rudely with their customers I think they don't have any planning to achieve what dth has achieved

Sanjeev bro, this is why digital cable is no where close to DTH despite having so many positives

Not rudely behaving but in every field if middle man comes to play then he will definitely spoil the name and fame of company. If Dealership of DTH is not professional then that DTH will become worst for us.

Since MSO, LCO is very important part of Digital Cable every time we suffer from LCO end if we having Digital Cable. First LCO are not professional, they were too greedy which only thinks about themselves, they don't care whether we're getting good service or not they only thinks about their profit. Since Hathway keep compromising with their service just to become no. 1 MSO otherwise any Good MSO who thinks about quality service might cancel the contract with LCO on such matters.

Can anyone fill me in on the picture quality and annual price for complete HD + SD package in Mumbai? I have been using Videocon d2h for 2 years now and while the HD quality is satisfactory, the SD quality is not quite up to the mark and the number of channels, esp. international ones is immensely limited.

The Hathway website is not very informative on package deals. I can only see long term offers for HD PVR which I can do without if the price difference to a normal HD package is quite significant.

Hello, I am a new member to this group. I am also one of the Hathway Digital Cable TV subscribers in Bangalore and facing very tough time with the Hathway services being provided by my LCO. I face Audio/Video distortion problems many of the time, Signal Quality and Strength is low at many times, the LCO doesn't even answer the call. :-( Don't know what is the solution. I don't want to jump to DTH as there is this problem of signal during rains or bad weather.
