Suggestion on new LED TV

Everything is working except the volume button of remote. Graphic indicator show volume increasing and decreasing but nothing actually happens.

I feel that it's a bug of Tata Sky DVR box but then it would be tough for me enjoy tv this way. So returning the TV now.

I am encountering the same problem only for few HD channels.... i guess its a bug with TS HD DVR Box....i have encountered the same problem many times....

Nothing as of now. Engineer said that it's a lestest model. So will wait for newer model and more discount.

Earlier he was using samsung only..So its time to go for Sony.

I found the complete thing.

I even called Tata Sky Engineer and this is how its working.

Volume +/- not working when we select Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital+ in Sound settings of Tata Sky STB
Volume +/- working perfectly when we select PCM in sound settings of Tata Sky STB
Volume +/- not working for those HD channels which are having Dolby Audio.
Volume +/- working perfectly for all SD and HD channels which are not in Dolby Digital Audio.

My Conclusion:

1. Either the Tata Sky STB is having compatibility issue with LG TV but i found cases on internet wherein users facing similar issue with Sony LED TV also.
2. Or LG TV codec is having issue or its not having Dolby codec at all and Flipkart is selling item with incorrect specification.

Bro, Samsung is still with me and working fine. It was Sony only whom i get rid of by exchanging.

Yes bro. That's what i am trying to say LG and Tata SKy but none of these morons are ready to understand this that fault lies in their products.

what about the vol buttons on stb?
at times choosing dolby, the stb vol buttons might be disabled.

I too have a lg tv, ill try to replicate the problem you are having with it. I have kept audio at PCM always. So the volume u are not able to adjust is of the tv or the stb from tata sky remote?
