Suggestion on new LED TV

Yes, i am also able to replicate this issue, the volume can't be managed of the stb while audio is selected as dolby or dolby +.

Does your Samsung tv shows dolby logo on the hdmi source info? I get the logo of dolby on my lg tv next to hdmi 1 when audio is changed to dolby.
Also the volume is very low when selecting dolby, making a case to use av receivers when selecting it. It becomes difficult for changing volume for dolby channels vs non dolby channels frequently.

Volume +/- not working when we select Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital+ in Sound settings of Tata Sky STB
Volume +/- working perfectly when we select PCM in sound settings of Tata Sky STB
Volume +/- not working for those HD channels which are having Dolby Audio.
Volume +/- working perfectly for all SD and HD channels which are not in Dolby Digital Audio.

My Conclusion:

1. Either the Tata Sky STB is having compatibility issue with LG TV but i found cases on internet wherein users facing similar issue with Sony LED TV also.
2. Or LG TV codec is having issue or its not having Dolby codec at all and Flipkart is selling item with incorrect specification.

So now i have to change the sound setting to PCM which will enable to fucntion Volume +/- ...

It is the only TV not only having Dolby in fact it is having DTS.I dont know about your TV model but LG can decode DTS also.

but if you compare the audio quality of PCM and Dolby then difference is quite noticeable.
