t3chg33k Good to know that finally its resolved. But how they called you. Which contact details hit into the bulls eye.

The issue isn't actually resolved as they have backtracked on issuing the refund. As of the present, I have got nothing in monetary terms. I guess it was the follow-up mails that got their attention as they mentioned that once in our conversation. But, I have no idea whether they are just fooling around or serious about resolving the issue as I had also mentioned this thread in one of the mails.

Tats the attitude of Airtel as I told 1000 of times they're running a MNC with a attitude of 3rd class company.

I don't know how many mobile no. other mobile connection and DTH they activate with 1 KYC. But sure they're structure is full of unprofessionals and one small hole require to puncture the red balloon.

If you are forgetting nodal officer is a single person but what airtel has done is they have put in a team of some bastards just like CC guys and act as nodal officer's desk.
I have had many troubles with airtel DTH but everytime it was resolved by complaining on pgportal.gov.in or you can call the joint Secretary in ministry of information broadcasting tell him your issue. Mine got resolved within hours after this step.

As expected, Airtel chose to keep quite yet again in spite of promising to reply soon yesterday. So, I have put up the complaint on pgportal.gov.in under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. Hope this gets them to finally shift gears and resolve the issue once and for all.

Thanks, seems I really do need a lot of luck to resolve this issue considering nothing else seems to be working. I don't have any idea on the timelines by which to expect a reply, but hope they do take action on the grievance whenever it is. Also, I sent another follow-up mail today morning to the nodal officer and included the Appellate Authority in addition to TRAI, but don't hold much hope of Airtel acting on its own.
