Vishwaroopam has shown its Vishwaroopam where the box office collections are concerned as well. According to trade sources, the film has garnered 49 crores during the first weekend (February 7th to 10th) in Tamil Nadu.

In Chennai and its suburbs alone, the film has collected 14 crores whereas its worldwide collections have crossed over 150 crores, states industry sources.

This is over action of Tamil media.Even Telugu media also following this fake collections for many movies. It is not possible a regional movie will gross 49 cr with in 3 days.Rajnikanth movies are exceptional but not for other movies.it is only fake collections giving producers for encouraging the fans.it is very high in Tamil,even telugu also following.

Now only hindi movies can do 100cr in India.rajini movies have some exception.But Now any regional movie not in a position to do 100cr in near future.that to Tamil it is almost impossible to do 100 cr bcoz in tamil nadu theatres are having very less comoaring to Andhra.almost half.I know in Overseas Tamil movies showing some strength.but doing 100cr is almost dream.This is the media giving about this fake collections.If Vishwaroopam did 100cr plus why wud Kamal hassan still crying about collections??
