Yes that we can do but we can't record a channel and watch another channel in the same tp

in d2h, we can record and watch channels simultaneously those are on same tp and adtv has restricted that, so if you record then you cant watch other channels.

I think in Sun Direct also it works like d2h and dishtv but why Airtel blocks this facility they even charging for the recording na ??

Check whether you can record or not if its allows then possibly DTH blocking the additional feature purposely.
