Tata Wireline Services Scrapped Docomo now with Triple Play

I have a wired tata connection too, 2mbps unltd @ 1499/-.pm.+ tax. The speed is as promised, but only issue is frequently disconnect.
I used to have linksys am300 modem in bridge mode and used asus rt-n66r router for wifi and pc,. Even after changing to dlink 2730u as modem router combo i am facing issues.
Right now i am using dlink as modem and asus rt-n66 as router. The issue remains.

One guy asks me sir, 2-3 min disruption, what's the big deal. Well he is tata engineer or outsourced engineer i don't know.
One tata executive asks why use 24x7, use in day and switch off at night. Tells me to use modem / routers that do not have logging facility, lol are these guys serious?
Someone give me email id of cyrus mistry, he should know it too.

I had faced initial hiccups my connection was automatically getting refresh & password was changing then had issues with faulty UPS & Modem in my building... frequent breakdown all happened in first 20 days i was also very frustrated then i showered my grievances to the senior management of the organization .... since then they rectified all the problem & touch wood i am having a stable connection .. i got a waver of my monthly bill too .... so speak to the senior management as the technicians are outsourced and they hardly care about the service level.

sunnysep1 , can you tell me about your Conn , fibre ? Regular telephone cables ? Modem? Router ?
I too major issues at the very start, it seems some issues with vlan configurations, that was rectified. Here these guys are adamant that trouble is at my place with my equipment!! Well they don't want to identify the trouble. Nor help me solve it.
They have offered to keep their modem /router for few days, lets see how that works out. In half a mind to drag them to consumer court.

My is a fiber cable connection with only router installed in my home modem is common one for our building

:wtf: tell them since you are requesting the modem to be switched of at night you are eligible for waiver of 50% of the bill amount monthly :hehe:
